When time is of the essence, collaboration is key to getting things done. While this applies to housework and planning vacations, it’s more critical than ever for people ops processes like comp reviews and headcount planning. This month, we’re releasing some key ways to help you work more efficiently and empower your People, Finance, and leadership teams to work better together. And you can feel confident that your people programs are running smoothly when you or your stakeholders head out of town for your Spring Break vacation.

Updates to Compensation Reviews

Making equitable decisions for your employees is only half the battle when it comes to building a strong compensation program for your company. You also need a platform that is flexible enough to fit the unique needs of your organization. To better help our customers, we’ve added:

Approval Overrides

Nothing takes the steam out of compensation reviews like waiting on someone to finish their tasks, only to realize that that person is out on vacation or dealing with an emergency. To combat this issue, we’ve released two new ways for compensation cycle owners to override approvals: an automatic ‘Skip to Final Approvals’ option and a manual one-off ‘Skip Reviewer’ option. Ultimately, we want to ensure that your compensation cycles run smoothly and are completed on-time.

New Primary Data Effective Date Option

Another update coming to our Compensation Reviews module is the addition of an effective date for locking in the Primary data being pulled into your compensation cycle. By adding this new optional effective date, customers who backdate their payrolls after a compensation cycle will be able to use Compensation Reviews as an accurate historical lookback for their employees without worrying that their new compensation will interfere with their Compensation Review.

Updates to Scenarios: New Row-Based Comments

We’re also improving the way you collaborate on headcount planning and communicate with stakeholders across your org in Scenarios, by introducing the ability to comment on individual changes on the Changes tab in Scenarios. This feature formalizes communications around any changes with an easier and more visible in-line comment thread.
